An SD45-2 and an ex-GT SD38 pass through the last three miles of the Lehigh River Gorge on their return trip to Lehighton.

3601 will swing to the north (left side of the picture) to continue its return Journey to Jim Thorpe. Track in the foreground is the Mahanoy & Shamokin Branch.

Both of Reading & Northern's SD45-2's enter into the south end of the Lehigh River Gorge on their way to Pittston, PA.
